Michael Jackson died of heart failure last Thursday July 25th 2009 at the age of 50. An icon of our time, his death left the world in a state of shock. He has been described as a music legend, the most famous man in the world and as the King of Pop. Michael’s influence on music and popular culture is said to be beyond measure and has been acknowledged by international artists and critics worldwide. Throughout his career and life, Michael Jackson went through an extraordinary physical transformation through skin bleaching, plastic surgery and increasing frailty till his tragic death last week. Also, bearing in mind some of the more recent controversy surrounding him, the child molestation cases and the financial problems, how will you remember Michael Jackson?
